Digital scanning for archiving and art
If you no longer open the boxes in storage that hold photos you love, then it's time to move those images to where you can enjoy them again.
In collaboration with photographer and photo archivist Michael Ulmer, we digitize your collections of prints and art into images that illustrate your stories. As needed, we edit digital images to improve their look, then we help you organize and assemble your stories into presentations.
Themed presentations
If the capacity of your phone is strained by a huge collection of digital photos, you can save storage fees and enjoy those photos anew by organizing them into inspired new formats. See them on your smart TV or digital frames, or arrange them into themed photo books.
We organize collections of digital images into themed albums that can then be transferred to various display formats, which may be as simple as a USB storage device or as elaborate as a large video display.
Photo books
Your collection of prints and digital images can illustrate many different stories you might tell.
We design and publish photo books on the topics that move you: the family home over the years, your distinct craftwork, your favorite vacation spot, the life and times of a loved one. One of our favorites was a baby board book about all of the family pets. Many fun ideas come to mind when you have collected and organized your images.
The books emerge from our collaboration with you. We offer ideas for themes and designs and we work with you to make them into fine art.
Pricing
Prices for digitizing prints are competitive with other commercial offerings, and range from $0.50 per print for 4" x 6" prints to $3.00 per image for delicate prints or pages from bound albums. Each project requires set-up fee of $30 for a stack of prints or slides to be digitized. Image editing and cropping range from $0.25 to $0.50 per image.
We organize image files, design and publish books at $80 per hour.
